Here are two varieties of rolling shelves. The deeper shelves are used for items such as: typewriters, PC's, adding machines, and items of that size. Delicate cargo items are wrapped in pads, or bubble wrap, and placed on the shelves. Each rolling shelf unit can move a far larger volume of goods compared to a mover's dolly.

The shallow rolling shelves are great for moving small parts, books, file folders, and many items without having to pack things into cartons. This saves lots of time and often makes it easier to keep cargo items in proper sequence compared to using cartons.

Large sheets of cardboard held in place with big rubber bands can be used with both sizes of rolling shelves to insure cargo will not spill off the shelves.

Fridrich Moving & Storage has hundreds of rolling shelves. Batches of shelves can be transported from origin to destination in our vans to create a regular conveyor line of cargo. Rolling shelves can substitute for customer's shelving while customer's shelving is being dismantled, moved and setup again. Rolling shelves allow customer access to cargo before, during and after the move until the cargo is put in place on customer's shelves at destination. Packing cargo into cartons places cargo out of reach. Rolling shelves maintain cargo accessibility.

A closer look at the two dollies on the elevator cart shows that the tops of the dollies are covered with a nonskid rubber, which is conducive to protecting furniture finishes and holding the cargo on the dolly.

A set of rectangular metal plates are attached to the bottom of each dolly to accommodate the cargo holding straps. This provides a secure, stable platform for your belongings during transit.

With the straps we can prevent file cabinet drawers from sliding out while rolling them on a dolly. The rubber covering and the attachment device for the cargo straps are our own special design! It's unique!
